Many varieties of vegetables, when grown in arctic and subarctic areas, out-perform their counterparts in the hot climates. These varieties include Oriental Sugar Pod Pea, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Lettuce, Peas, Radish, Swiss Chard, and Turnips. These varieties perform the best in hot climates during late winter and very early spring.
We also offer spcialized varieties of the warm-climate plants, which include Beans, Corn, Cucumbers, Peppers, Pumpkin, Squash and Tomatoes, that will perform in the far North.
Our list also includes the common standards, such as Beets, Brussels Sprouts, Carrots, Celery, Collards, Kale, Kohlrabi, Mustard, Onions, Parsnips, Rutabaga, and Spinach.
